Liv carried an old Hollywood glamour that suited the Opera House perfectly. The kind of presence that doesn’t need to announce itself.
The ceremony was in the Utzon Room, where the raw industrial beauty of the Opera House is on full display. Concrete, timber, that tapestry. It’s one of the few ceremony spaces in Sydney where the room itself does the heavy lifting.
Afterwards, a private tour through the Opera House’s most restricted spaces, then a ferry across the harbour at sunset before finishing the night at Pier One. The whole day moved through Sydney with a rhythm that felt deliberate and unhurried.
A few of the images from this wedding were selected for my Emerging Wedding Photographer of the Year award and International Top 15 finalists. Some days give you everything.
If you’re planning an Opera House wedding, I’d love to hear from you.
