Ash and Marcus are the kind of people who make a wedding feel genuinely easy to photograph. Kind, thoughtful, surrounded by family who clearly adored them. Both have a deep love for the outdoors and the natural beauty of the Kiama coastline – so Greyleigh on the Kiama headland was the obvious choice. Panoramic Pacific Ocean views, minimal concrete architecture and that incredible coastal light you only get down that way. The venue suited them perfectly – no fuss, no pretension, just a beautiful place that let them be completely themselves.
Oh, and Marcus on the bongo drums under the mirrorball. One of my favourite dancefloor moments in twelve years of doing this.

Kiama is one of those places that gets under your skin. The coastline, the light, the pace of it. Greyleigh sits right on the headland and makes the most of all of it. Ash and Marcus’s day was a perfect fit for the setting – relaxed, warm and completely themselves.
If you’re getting married in Kiama or on the South Coast and looking for a photographer who knows the area – I’d love to hear from you.
