Another wedding at Melross & Willows Estate in Kangaroo Valley, this time in autumn. The property changes completely between seasons. In spring for Emily and Nick’s wedding, it was all storm light and green.
For Peta and David, it was golden leaves and still, clean air. Peta wore a Johanna Johnson gown, which suited the setting perfectly. Nothing overdone, nothing competing with where they were. The ceremony was on the grounds with autumn colour behind them, and by evening the reception was lit entirely by candlelight. That warm, quiet glow against the valley darkness outside. Kangaroo Valley is one of the best country wedding locations within reach of Sydney. One venue for ceremony and reception, no transfers, no rush. Just the valley.
